Egypt is refusing to allow the entry of a Jordanian parliamentary delegation into the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing.
Jordan has a majority Palestinian population and the Egyptian government, which has been collaborating with Israel and the west in trying to isolate Hamas, is clearly worried by the widening support for the Hamas-led resistance movement in Palestine, the wider Arab world and globally.
Meanwhile Haaretz reports today that Egypt will be laying out the red carpet for Nethanyahu, the rabid Arab-hating politician soon to be prime minister of Israel. Apparently the Egyptian ambassador has already extended the invitation to the Likud leader.
The days of this rotten and corrupt regime in Cairo are surely numbered.
