Second post mortem into Tomlinson as G20 police run for cover

Too little too late from the police medics?

A second post mortem is to be held into Ian Tomlinson's death at the request of the IPCC.

We rang the City of London coroner's officer on Friday 3 April concerning delays to the first post mortem. When we asked if the longer the delay the harder it becomes to ascertain cause of death there was no reply.

The IPCC says it is still waiting for some of the officers in the video to come forward.

Egyptians continue to keep Gaza's only exit closed

GAZA CITY (Ma’an) – The Gaza Strip’s only exit to the outside world, the Rafah crossing between Egypt and the enclave, was shut down for the second consecutive day on Saturday. Sources at the terminal confirmed to Ma’an that the crossing point was still closed. On Friday, Palestinian official Mahir Abu Sabha said that Egyptian officials at the site informed the Palestinian side it would remain closed until further notice. more
