Friday 24 April - "Lights Out" in honour of Ian Tomlinson and all those who died at the hands of police, 8:30 - 9:30pm

Saturday 25 April - Millwall FC, unfurling the banner of the United Campaign against Police Violence.

Thursday 30 April - Picket of Public meeting of Metropolitan Police Authority.

Friday 1 May - May Day activity, to ensure the campaign and forthcoming events are publicised on all May Day activity.

Mayday Meltdown 2 - the four Horsefolk come out in support of SPACE HIJACKERS Convicts Carnival @ BANK OF ENGLAND, 5.04 p.m.

Tuesday 5 May - Public rally in Friends Meeting House on Euston Road at 7:00pm. This will be the public launch of the United Campaign Against Police Violence.

A fisherman told Ma'an Israeli ships fired gunshots at Palestinian fishing boats, and that a shell hit the water near the boats. No injuries were reported. An Israeli army spokeswoman said that "warning shots were fired in the air," without providing further details. Egyptians continue to keep Gaza's only exit closed

GAZA CITY (Ma’an) – The Gaza Strip’s only exit to the outside world, the Rafah crossing between Egypt and the enclave, was shut down for the second consecutive day on Saturday. Sources at the terminal confirmed to Ma’an that the crossing point was still closed. On Friday, Palestinian official Mahir Abu Sabha said that Egyptian officials at the site informed the Palestinian side it would remain closed until further notice. more
