Gaza aid ship passengers imprisoned - charged with entering Israel illegally

From [23:38 BST 1 July] http://twitter.com/freegazaorg

Passengers transferred to prison next to Ramle for illegal immigrants. The irony of it all. They will be tried for entering Israel illegally

Adam Qvist and Adam Shapiro taken away in a truck for deportation. Mairead forcibly removed from rest of group in handcuffs. All isolated.

Two released, 19 still imprisoned. Keep up the phone calls, emails, anger at what has happened. Remember 11,000 Palestinians also imprisoned

Please call the numbers below and demand that Israel free these 19 innocent people, as well as the over 11,000 Palestinian political prisoners currently held in Israeli jails. They all need your help.

And what of the charge - entering Israeli waters?

The clear inference of the charge against the 'criminals' trying to take medicine, toys, olive trees and some cement to a desperate population, is that the occupier's of Palestine also lay claim to Gaza's territorial waters - part of its ongoing campaign aimed at securing the large natural gas reserves off the Gazan coast.
