PFLP claims responsibility for sniper attack on Israeli soldiers near Gaza City


GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- The armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, have claimed responsibility for firing at Israeli soldiers on Thursday in the Ash Shujaiyeh neighborhood near Gaza City.

The group targeted an engineering unit of Israeli soldiers with sniper fire.

A statement by the group said they would "continue with resistance and respond to the Israeli [occupation] crimes." more
