OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The Palestinian committee for the defense of Silwan revealed a new tunnel, the seventh of its kind in the area, extending from Ein Silwan compound to the southern wall of the Aqsa Mosque.
The committee noted that some Jewish sources declared they found a golden bell in the area which underlines the Israeli occupation's attempts to forge the history of the Arab holy city of Jerusalem through burying some antiquities underground and then alleging they made a historical biblical discovery.
It also pointed out that extremist Jewish settlers started recently to bury their dead inside and around Silwan neighborhood.
The Jewish settlers divide Silwan into two parts, the city of the living to the west of Al-Bustan neighborhood and the city of the dead to its east, which made the Palestinian natives besieged by settlement outposts and Talmudic gardens on one side and the graves of Jews on the other side, the committee stated.
