GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli authorities on Sunday allowed tomatoes to be exported from the Gaza Strip to Jordan, the first such export from the coastal enclave to the Hashemite kingdom since 2007, a crossings official said.
Gaza crossings liaison official Raed Fattouh said two truckloads of tomatoes will leave the Gaza Strip via the Israeli-controlled Kerem Shalom crossing.
One truckload of carnations and two truckloads of strawberries will also pass through for export to Europe, he added. more
