GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- Gaza is facing a shortage of cooking gas, an official said Friday, calling for more deliveries through an Israeli-controlled crossing.
Samir Hamada, from Gaza's society of petrol companies, said suppliers of gas for domestic use have almost run out of fuel.
He said Gaza's daily gas requirements is 250 tons, while on average around 150 tons are being delivered through the Israeli-controlled Kerem Shalom crossing each day.
The official called for expansion of the fuel transfer capacity at Kerem Shalom. more
