GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli authorities opened the Kerem Shalom goods crossing into Gaza on Monday for the limited transfer of building materials, a Palestinian Authority official told Ma'an.
The building materials are earmarked for projects already under construction, PA liaison official Raed Fattouh said. Goods for other sectors and cooking gas will also be among the goods entering Gaza on Monday.
In April, a UN agency expressed concern over heightened Israeli restrictions placed on the movement of people and goods to and from the Gaza Strip, following rocket fire in the area. more
