Israeli warplanes step up low-altitude flights over Gaza


GAZA, (PIC)-- Israeli warplanes intensified flights over the Gaza Strip on Sunday morning.

A field observer said that F16s flew over all areas of the coastal enclave spreading fears among the population.

He pointed out that the warplanes were flying in rows at low altitudes, noting that the act was unprecedented since the last aggression on the Strip ended on 21st November last year. more

Palestinian injured in Nablus at march protesting against illegal settlers


A Palestinian man was injured on Friday [June 14] in Jama’in town, near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, after being attacked by several Israeli soldiers during clashes that took place between local residents and extremist Israeli settlers.

Eyewitnesses have reported that dozens of settlers gathered at a Palestinian land near the village, before several villagers tried to remove them.

Dozens of soldiers arrived at the scene and tried to push the residents away, while some soldiers attacked resident Ghassan Baker, and struck him with their rifle-butts. more
