BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli fighter jets bombed three Hamas sites in the southern Gaza Strip late Friday after 14 projectiles were fired from the besieged enclave into southern Israel, military officials said.
There were no immediate reports of injury or damage.
In a statement, the Israeli military said the bombings were in response to "constant rocket fire" toward southern Israel from the Gaza Strip.
"Since midnight, 14 projectiles were fired at Israel. 10 rockets and mortars hit Israel, 3 were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system and 1 landed in Palestinian territory," it said. more
