Israeli warplanes strike targets across Gaza Strip

GAZA CITY (Ma’an) – Israeli warplanes launched multiple airstrikes across the Gaza Strip early Sunday morning without causing injuries, locals told Ma’an.

In Gaza City, a missile hit a military base known as Abu Jarad in the southern outskirts of the city, and an open area near a car market in the Zaytoun neighborhood.

On Saturday night, Israeli jets fired a missile at a group of Palestinians in the Musabbih neighborhood in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip injuring two.

Another airstrike on southern Gaza hit a poultry farm in al-Qarara north of Khan Younis.

In an emailed statement, Israel's military confirmed the strikes and said they were in retaliation for rocket fire. more
