GAZA, (PIC)-- The two main Palestinian political factions Hamas and Fatah agreed, after a round of gives-and-takes, to resume reconciliation talks in Gaza, member of the Fatah Central Committee (FCC), Jamal Muheissen, told al-Resalah Net on Saturday.
Azzam al-Ahmad, Jebril al-Rajoub, Sakhr Bsisou, and Mahmoud al-Aloul, along with another prominent political figure, have been appointed by the FCC as the senior Fatah delegates to carry out the projected reconciliation talks, Muheissen revealed.
He added that al-Ahmed is carrying out talks to set up a fixed agenda for the soon-to-be held negotiations.
The meeting will go over the bilateral Fatah-Hamas ties and assess the output of the consensus government’s performance in Gaza.
Palestinian Prime Minister Rami al-Hamdallah will drop in Gaza by the end of the meeting, Muheissen further confirmed. more
