GALILEE, (PIC)-- Israeli police murdered Saturday morning Khair Hamdan, 22, from Kfar Kanna, north of 1948 occupied Palestine.
Israeli police claimed Khair attempted to stab an Israeli armed policeman. However, a CCTV video posted on Facebook clearly shows that Khair could not cause any harm to the police force that executed him soon after.
The video shows a young man banging on the side window of a semi-armored police van. It is not clear yet what he was doing. Soon after, a dozen of armed policemen got out of their vehicle and shot at him. The young man, later identified as Khair Hamdan, fell on the ground. At least 6 shots are heard.
Khair could have easily been arrested as he was outnumbered by the Israeli policemen.
On hearing the news, the youth in the village took to the streets and the local council declared a general strike in protest at the crime and Israeli racist policies against Palestinian Arabs.
Kfar Kanna is located in the Lower Galilee occupied since 1948. more
