Israeli airstrike targets Gaza City and Khan Younis


[Tuesday At Dawn, June 16, 2014] The Israeli air force fired several missiles targeting different areas in Gaza City, and Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, causing excessive property damage. Gaza fishermen were also attacked in Palestinian waters.

The Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) has reported that the soldiers fired at least two missiles into farmlands, west of Khan Younis city, burning trees and causing damage to nearby Palestinian homes and property.

The air force also fired several missiles into an area north of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the coastal region, causing damage in several homes, while several Palestinians suffered anxiety attacks. more

Palestinian critically injured in clashes near Ramallah


RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Six Palestinians were injured including one critically in clashes with Israeli forces near Qalandiya checkpoint near Ramallah.

Israeli forces fired live and rubber-coated steel bullets at protesters who threw rocks at Israeli forces deployed near the checkpoint, injuring six of them.

Yazan Yacoub, 17, was shot in the chest and abdomen with a live bullet. He underwent an operation and is currently in the ICD, medical sources said.

Hundreds of Palestinians marched toward the checkpoint to protest the killing of young Palestinian from al-Jalazun refugee camp. more
