At least 87 Palestinians were shot and injured by Israeli forces during clashes in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip on Friday, medics told Ma'an.
The Red Crescent said 22 Palestinians were shot with live fire in West Bank clashes, with 12 shot in the lower extremities in Hebron and eight in al-Bireh. A further 38 Palestinians were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets while 210 were treated for tear gas inhalation.
Clashes broke out in the Ras al-Jura area of northern Hebron, with medics treating the injured in the street.
Israeli soldiers used three Palestinian cars as cover from Palestinian youths throwing rocks while the passengers were still in their vehicles, witnesses said. The passengers were only allowed to leave their cars after several hours.
In Gaza, 26 Palestinians were shot with live fire as clashes broke out in the central and eastern Gaza Strip. more
