Three Palestinians were injured by live fire early Wednesday morning as Israeli forces ransacked homes across the occupied West Bank detaining at least 31, locals said.
Locals told Ma’an that Israeli forces heavily opened fire in the Nablus-area town of Tubas after surrounding the home of a leader of the political group Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP).
The DFLP leader, identified as Iyad Maslamani, was detained by the forces after he refused to turn himself in for over a year, locals added.
A Tubas local, Bassam Maslamani, identified the injured as Ahmad Hreish, 22, Muhammad Hamzeh, 20, and Muhannad Maslamani, 46, who was shot in the stomach and in critical condition.
In the Hebron-area village of Sair, locals told Ma’an that Israeli military forces stormed the village and ransacked the home of 27-year-old Jawad Hasan al-Froukh, who was shot and injured by the forces a few days prior.
Al-Froukh was handcuffed and taken into custody in an ambulance accompanying the forces, locals said. more
