The head of the Palestinian Sharia court, Sheikh Taysir al-Tamimi, fiercely denounced Israeli policy in the presence of Pope Benedict on Monday and appealed to the pope to help end what he called the "crimes of the Jewish state." Speaking at an interfaith conference held at the Notre Dame Church in East Jerusalem, al-Tamimi accused Israel of slaughtering women, children and senior citizens. AMMAN, (PIC)-- The prominent Palestinian Christian figure archimandrite Atallah Hanna has called on the Arab countries to immediately mobilize to save the occupied city of Jerusalem from the persistent Israeli activities to judaize it, stressing that there will be no peace in the region until Jerusalem is returned to the Palestinians. The archimandrite's call was made during a speech to the anti-racism and anti-Zionism society in Jordan Wednesday where he also underlined that the Palestinian Christians would hand the Pope a clear message during his visit to occupied Palestine that Palestinian people were and would remain attached to Jerusalem and that they are against any Israeli settlement measures in it. The anti-semitic and Islam-hating Pope Benedict is visiting Palestine and Jordan today. The Hitler Youth Pope is being welcomed by the Israeli government despite the fact that this is the man that saw no problem with allowing a holocaust denier back into the church. I suppose they must be operating on the basis that 'our enemy's enemy is our friend', which, unfortunately, is not a new approach in the history of Zionism. From the Catholic News Service Pope Benedict XVI has decided the collection taken up at his Holy Thursday evening Mass will be used to help support the Catholic community in the Gaza Strip. The Pope is an ex-member of the Hitler Youth and recently let a holocaust denier back into the Catholic Church. A revolting man but he has done some good with this move. Hopefully it is not motivated by his none to latent anti-semitism.
