We reported on the case of Magdi Hussein, secretary-general of the Socilaist Labour Party, on 11 February after he was arrested for the 'crime' of going to Gaza 'without a passport'. The anti-Palestinian Mubarak regime that runs Egypt in the interests of Israel and the US has imprisoned him for two years. The authorities have refused to let either his wife or lawyer visit him and campaigners fear he is being tortured. This comes at a time of rising labour unrest in Egypt
