UK calls in Israeli ambassador over Mossad murder of Mabhouh

The Israeli government has got so used to operating with impunity that it thinks nothing of stealing the identities of recent immigrants to the country from Britain. And of course the UK ambassador will say don't do it again, or if you do don't leave so many clues behind. I guess if you can wantonly kill women and children in their hundreds and no one does anything about it, then killing an Al-Qassam leader in Dubai is easy. Yet another argument has come to pass as to why Israel is a terrorist, gangster state.
The British and Irish governments have called in their Israeli ambassadors over the use of fake passports by the alleged killers of a Hamas commander.
Dubai police believe 11 "agents with European passports" killed Palestinian militant Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in January. Six British passports were fraudulent.
The Dubai police chief has said he is 99% sure Israel is involved in the killing, according to a UAE newspaper.

Egyptians continue to keep Gaza's only exit closed

GAZA CITY (Ma’an) – The Gaza Strip’s only exit to the outside world, the Rafah crossing between Egypt and the enclave, was shut down for the second consecutive day on Saturday. Sources at the terminal confirmed to Ma’an that the crossing point was still closed. On Friday, Palestinian official Mahir Abu Sabha said that Egyptian officials at the site informed the Palestinian side it would remain closed until further notice. more

Support striking Palestinian quarry workers demanding their rights from Israeli employer

On 16 June, 35 Palestinian workers at Salit Quarries in Mishor Adumim (in area C, east of Jerusalem, in the Occupied West Bank) began a strike. The workers, organized with the independent union WAC-Ma'an, are demanding an end to exploitation and humiliation, and insist on signing a first collective agreement. Salit Quarries’ main customer is Readymix Industries (Israel). The total reliance of Salit Quarry on Readymix as their biggest and by far the most important customer puts responsibility on Readymix to make sure that their clients abides by labour laws and safeguards elementary rights for the workers of Salit.
