PFLP retaliates for Israeli killings with rocket fire aimed at Ashkelon

GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- The armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine said its forces launched two rockets toward the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon late Friday.

The Abu Ali Mustapha Brigades said in a statement that it rejected "any truce with the occupation" and would not abandon resistance. The leftist faction called for unity and more attacks on Israeli targets.

The group took responsibility for another rocket several hours earlier. None of the most recent attacks caused damage or injuries, the Israeli news site Ynet reported. more
