Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) Continue Systematic Attacks against Palestinian Civilians and Property in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT)

IOF use force to disperse peaceful protest organized by Palestinian civilians in the West Bank.
4 demonstrators, including two children and an international human rights defender, were wounded.

A Palestinian civilian was seriously injured at Etzion intersection, south of Bethlehem.

IOF conducted 90 incursions into Palestinian communities in the West Bank and two limited ones into the Gaza Strip.
IOF arrested 28 Palestinian civilians, including 12 children, an old man, the director of a television channel and an ex-prisoner.

IOF continued to attack Palestinian fishermen in the Gaza Strip.
Israel has continued to impose a total closure on the OPT and has isolated the Gaza Strip from the outside world.
IOF arrested two Palestinian civilians at various checkpoints in the West Bank.

IOF have continued efforts to create a Jewish demographic majority in East Jerusalem.
The Israeli government allocated new budget to enhance settlement activities in Jerusalem.
A house was demolished in al-Tour neighborhood in East Jerusalem.

IOF have continued settlement activities in the West Bank and Israeli settlers have continued to attack Palestinian civilians and property.
A Palestinian civilian was seriously wounded by Israeli settlers south of Nablus.
IOF razed 14 dunums[1] of agricultural land in the east of Hebron and confiscated a bulldozer and a truck in Jerusalem.
IOF tore down 6 tents south of Hebron and demolished a bird farm southwest of Ramallah.
Israeli settlers stormed Taqqou’ village, southeast of Bethlehem, in the presence of IOF. more

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli warships opened fire at fishermen off the coast of Gaza City early Wednesday, a fisherman said. A fisherman told Ma'an Israeli ships fired gunshots at Palestinian fishing boats, and that a shell hit the water near the boats. No injuries were reported. An Israeli army spokeswoman said that "warning shots were fired in the air," without providing further details. Egyptians continue to keep Gaza's only exit closed

GAZA CITY (Ma’an) – The Gaza Strip’s only exit to the outside world, the Rafah crossing between Egypt and the enclave, was shut down for the second consecutive day on Saturday. Sources at the terminal confirmed to Ma’an that the crossing point was still closed. On Friday, Palestinian official Mahir Abu Sabha said that Egyptian officials at the site informed the Palestinian side it would remain closed until further notice. more

Support striking Palestinian quarry workers demanding their rights from Israeli employer

On 16 June, 35 Palestinian workers at Salit Quarries in Mishor Adumim (in area C, east of Jerusalem, in the Occupied West Bank) began a strike. The workers, organized with the independent union WAC-Ma'an, are demanding an end to exploitation and humiliation, and insist on signing a first collective agreement. Salit Quarries’ main customer is Readymix Industries (Israel). The total reliance of Salit Quarry on Readymix as their biggest and by far the most important customer puts responsibility on Readymix to make sure that their clients abides by labour laws and safeguards elementary rights for the workers of Salit. We call upon Readymix to urge the Salit management to terminate this unnecessary strike by signing the collective agreement with the workers and WAC-Ma’an.
