Beaten to death by Israeli racists in Beer Sheba bus station

A Palestinian man, an Israeli settler and an Israeli soldier were killed and 11 others wounded in a shooting at the Central Bus Station in occupied Beer Sheba, southern Israel, on Sunday evening.

According to Israeli media, the police forces shot two people whom they thought were attackers. One of them turned out to be a 29-year old Eritrean national called Haftom Zarhum. The other has now been identified as 21-year old Muhanad Alukabi of the Bedouin town of Hura, just east of Beersheba.

One of Mr Zarhum’s assailants, identified only as Dudu, told a radio station this morning he felt “disgusting”.

He said: “I saw people coming and crowding around him, I understood from them that this was the terrorist.” more
