3 injured as unidentified gunmen open fire in Gaza

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- A father and his two sons were injured on Sunday afternoon after unidentified gunmen opened fire at them in al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, a medical source told Ma'an.

The three were shot at from a speeding vehicle, witnesses told Ma'an.

They were evacuated to the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, a medical source said. more

GAZA CITY (Ma’an) – The Gaza Strip’s only exit to the outside world, the Rafah crossing between Egypt and the enclave, was shut down for the second consecutive day on Saturday. Sources at the terminal confirmed to Ma’an that the crossing point was still closed. On Friday, Palestinian official Mahir Abu Sabha said that Egyptian officials at the site informed the Palestinian side it would remain closed until further notice. more
