GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- An explosive device blew up near a major square in Gaza City late Sunday, security officials said.
The device exploded in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, with no injuries reported. Police arrived at the scene and are investigating the incident.
The circumstances behind the explosion are unclear.
A series of explosions have rocked Gaza over the past month.
On April 6, an explosive device was set off near the al-Radwan mosque in Sheikh Radwan. Weeks later, an explosive device blew up near the Palestinian cabinet's headquarters in western Gaza City.
On April 18, two explosions went off in Gaza Citycenter late Saturday causing no injuries. more
