Israeli army levels land in Gaza 'buffer zone'


Israeli military vehicles entered into the besieged Gaza Strip “buffer zone” on Thursday and levelled lands south of the Bureij refugee camp, Palestinian sources said.

Palestinian security sources and eyewitnesses reported that Israeli vehicles entered the central Gaza Strip early on Thursday morning and leveled lands dozens of meters within the blockaded Palestinian territory.

They added that Israeli surveillance aircrafts were flying over the area.

An Israeli army spokesperson told Ma'an they were looking into the reports. more
